For instance, we really liked the fact that the Taylormade M2 driver has a 9-1-1 titanium body. When we tested it, we noticed that the titanium material really lent a solid feel to this driver. In fact, we would say that the Taylormade M2 feels like a much more expensive driver.
This would also be a great choice for anyone looking for help with accuracy and shot-shaping because the Taylormade M2 comes with a 12-setting adjustable hosel. However, it’s not all good news. The Taylormade M2 does not play as long as the Big Bertha.
So if you are looking for max distance help and still want an M series driver, we would recommend checking out the Taylormade M6.
Callaway Big Bertha Driver Overview
The Callaway Big Bertha has a large footprint and will send your drives flying down the fairway.
Big Bertha is certainly not a misnomer. At point of address, we could see why they call this driver the Big Bertha. It has an oversized head and large face profile so finding the sweet spot was a breeze. The Big Bertha also features internal draw bias so it helps produce straight shots.
The Big Bertha was also producing drives that flew an average of 278 yards. Apex height was also more than satisfactory with this driver. The only thing we didn’t like about the Big Bertha was that it wasn’t workable. The player can naught but send the ball on a very straight flight path.
The lack of workability can be overlooked in light of the incredible distance, launch and forgiveness of the Big Bertha driver. The Big Bertha would be the best choice for anyone looking for pure distance/forgiveness while the Taylormade M2 would be better for players looking for more versatility.

Taylormade M2 First Impressions
The first thing we noticed about the Taylormade M2 driver was how light it felt and how well it cut through the air on the downswing.
This driver will feel really good for anyone with a slower swing speed. It cuts through the air like a dream and delivers smooth, buttery contact when you pure it.
The M Family
The M2 is joined by the M6 and M4 drivers. The M6 more closely resembles the SIM drivers from Taylormade as it has an even more pronounced rear weight. The M4 is a bit more subtle but does have a more satisfying sound and feel than both the M2 and M6.
Callaway Big Bertha B21 First Impressions
At first glance, the Big Bertha B21 will look inviting to high handicappers thanks to it’s oversized head.
The Driver is absolutely massive and it has a huge sweet spot which stretches in every direction on the drivers ultra thin steel face.
The weighting is low and deep in the head which leads to a low CG and high MOI, meaning long, high and straight shots.
The driver has all the stability you would expect from a Callaway too with it’s internal jailbreak bars.
The driver has considerably offset too, so if you suffer from a slice, this one is going to be an excellent choice.
It’s pretty easy to start upping your drive distance with the first few swings of the Big Bertha B21 due to it’s massive head and deep weighting.
This can be considered a super game improvement driver that will help you take your game to the next level.

The Callaway Big Bertha B21 would be most beneficial for high handicappers who are looking for a driver that will help them produce straighter shots that actually make it onto the fairway.
The performance of the Callaway Big Bertha B21 is pretty straightforward – literally. It produces long, straight shots.
In fact, the Big Bertha was yielding an increase of distance for us by an average of 6 yards. Compare that to the average distance increase of 3 yards in the Titleist Tsi2.

The Callaway Big Bertha B21 is the only one in the family.
However, you can take a look at older models which have a different footprint and head shape than the B21.
