Taylormade Qi10 Vs Taylormade Stealth 2 Hybrid Comparison
Taylormade has been depedent on Ai to improve its club offerings in 2024 and the QI10 Hybrids are no exception, offering an amazing Ai Smart face for maximum consistency.
Taylormade Qi10 Hybrid Overview
The Taylormade Qi10 features split mass weighting, infinity carbon crown and 450SS face design.
The V-steel panel has a more streamlined look in the Taylormade Qi10 than it does in the Stealth 2 hybrid and overall, the Taylormade Qi10 looks more refined.
The larger carbon fiber crown blends into the topline seamlessly and frames the ball very well.
The heel-toe weighting stabilized my mis-hits so I was finding the heart of the fairway more often than not. The Taylormade Qi10 hybrid retails for $300.
Taylormade Stealth 2 Hybrid Overview
“The Stealth2 hybrid features a V-steel sole, Twist Face technology, rear mass pad and inverted cone face design.”
It has a shallow face profile but an expansive crown that is visually pleasing. Plus the red/black color scheme just looks cool. Low-face shots were maintaining ball speed; but toe-side mis-hits diverged widely and picked up a lot of spin. The Stealth 2 sells for $250.
“Overall, the Taylormade Qi10 hybrid was more stable and had a larger hitting area which resulted in straighter, more predictable flight – even on mis-hits.”

Taylormade Qi10 Hybrid – First Impressions
“After my very first swing with the Taylormade Qi10 Rescue, I was impressed with how powerful it felt.”
I’m not gonna sit here and tell you I understand all the ins and outs of the new 450SS face architecture, but whatever Taylormade has done, it makes for a really solid, satisfying feel at impact.
Even when I missed slightly to the left, I felt like I got the better of the ball. It probably also has to do with the split weighting as well.
I didn’t feel like the face was deflecting quite so much – even when I missed towards the heel or the toe.
Overall it gives a very powerful, satisfying feel that for the most part, translates to good distance. My average smash factor with the Taylormade Qi10 3-hybrid was 1.42 and my average carry was 227.3 yards.
The variable face thickness design generates fantastic ball speeds on both pure strikes and mis-hits. Including some chunks and slices, my average ball speed was still 141 MPH after my test session was finished.
And I liked the feel and launch I was getting when I was taking shots off the deck. The V-Steel sole helps pull your swing down so you get under the ball and cut through the turf nicely.
Off the deck, my average apex height was about 104 feet which was more than enough to hold greens.
Taylormade Stealth 2 Hybrid – First Impressions
“At first, we believed that the Taylormade Stealth 2 hybrid was a pure GI club.”
But its workability and versatility quickly impressed us. It’s not the longest hybrid on the market; but it makes up for it with accuracy.
Taylormade Stealth 2 Hybrid Family
“The Stealth 2 Plus and Stealth 2 HD hybrids are also available for more specific needs.”
The HD version will help correct a slice while the Stealth 2 Plus is a better option for low handicap players seeking lower flight and spin.

Who is the Taylormade Qi10 Hybrid for?
“I can see the Taylormade Qi10 hybrid working very well for mid to high handicappers.”
In my opinion and based on the results of my own testing, I would say the Taylormade Qi10 hybrid would work best if you’re in the 14-22 handicap range.
It has a moderate footprint that looks really nice behind the ball. My only gripe is that it was hard to work from side-to-side. But if accuracy is something you struggle with, this shouldn’t be a problem for you.
The Taylormade Qi10 hybrid is also a great choice if you want to increase your ability to hold the green from the fairway.
I was getting excellent height with the Taylormade Qi10 off the deck and was able to hold even fast greens.
The stock Fujikura Ventus shaft (in regular flex) also felt really easy to turn over which, again, helps promote straight flight.
This is yet another advantage for players who have trouble turning the club over and missing to the right of the fairway.
The Taylormade Qi10 is available in 3H at 19°, 4H at 22°, 5H at 25°, 6H at 29° and 7H at 33°. It retails for $300.
And if you need help getting the ball airborne or simply need the forgiveness of a larger head, you can opt for the Taylormade Qi10 Max Rescue.
