Ping G410 Vs Callaway Mavrik Irons Comparison And Review
The Ping G410’s are game improvement irons that have added a bit more workability than the G400’s and the Callaway Mavriks are all about ball speed and distance while providing forgiveness.
Ping G410 Irons Overview
The Ping G410’s were a hit from the outset as a quality set of game improvement irons.
The Variable face thickness and a hinge at the back head of the club allow for flexible and forgiveness along with forgiving lofts while two weights in the hosel and head keep the COG low and launch angle high.
A wide sole with a deep undercut adds to be playability of the irons and a co molded badge fills the cavity to dampen unwanted vibrations.
The clubs also have a thin face for maximum distance and ball speed.
Callaway Mavrik Irons Overview
The Callaway Mavriks are designed for ball speed and distance whilst also offering a lot of forgiveness.
They are crafted with Artificial Intelligence for a perfect club composition and COG, bolstered by Tungsten weighting in the head.
The 360 Face Cup Technology allows the ball to fly at an impressive speed and the large sweet spot is also flexible for straight shots on off center connections.
The Urethane Microspheres absorb any unwanted vibrations and if you are looking for more workability, the Mavrik Pro’s are a good choice and the Mavrik Max Irons are ideal for beginners.
Overall, we like the Mavriks, they are released in 2020 so available at a good price and deliver stunning performance. That is not to say the G410’s are not excellent clubs, because they are.
