Wilson Deep Red Golf Club Set Review 2021
There are an absolute plethora of beginner golf club sets on the market these days and it can be a difficult to zero in on the set you want. Buying the wrong set can have disastrous consequences whether that’s buying a set that’s too cheap or one that isn’t suited to your game
Wilson Deep Red
The Wilson Deep Red set is a budget set of clubs aimed at beginners and they are designed with the average Sunday golfer in mind.
In the set, you get a good blend of Driver, 3 Wood, 5 Hybrid, 5 – 9 irons, PW, SW and a blade putter.
3 headcovers and a good quality stand bag complete the set.
At this price point, around $300, people are correctly going to wonder how good they are and the answer is good but not great. The clubs are enough to get your start but will start to break down a lot quicker than a more premium set.
The driver has a large 460cc titanium head and a huge sweet spot for long shots while the average 10.5 degree loft will get the ball in the air easily.
The Driver, wood and hybrid have the weight low and in the back for easy launch and the distance.
The cavity back irons have crisp turf interaction, are game improvement irons and have perimeter weighting to expand the sweet spot.
The wedges are sharp and ready to hit with well defined grooves.
The blade putter has visual alignment while 3 headcovers and a stand bag complete the set.
