Titleist T250 Irons Review – Higher, Longer And More Consistent, Are They Any Good?
Titleist have come out with a new T series of irons for the 2025 season and beyond. The T200’s have been changed so much that they are now called the T250’s from 2025 onwards.
These are two piece hollow body players distance irons that offer a high launch, plenty of distance and tight dispersions. They generate high ball flight and steep descend angles to stop the ball on the greens.
Titleist T250 Irons Overview
The T250’s remove the unpopular badge which was on the back of the T200’s and these clean clubs look likes blades from the back.
They sit in the middle of the range between the T100’s, T150’s, and on the other side, the T350’s. They offer work ability alongside power, distance and a high launch.
They have split Tungsten in the heel and toe to stretch the sweet spot along the blade which is longer and thicker than the T150’s but more compact and player friendly than the T350’s. These irons have been uniformly designed together so you can mix and match easily.
Some PGA pros have even been using the T250’s in their long irons. There is also a super handy 2 Iron for off the tee. They have a Forged L Face insert into the two piece high strength steel.
There is max impact technology behind the thinner face for max moi on flush shots but also consistency on mishits.
There is minimal offset in the T250’s but they make you fell comfortable at address while looking great and almost any half serious golfer could probably hit them easily.
The Irons get full marks from us, they talk the talk and walk the walk. They feel amazing, they are look, accurate and consistent. Definitely a competitor to the P790’s and the other array of Players Distance irons on the market.
Are The Titleist T250 Irons Forgiving?
The T250’s are middle of the road when it comes to forgiveness.
They aren’t super forgiving like many game improvment irons that look likes blocks of metal at the end of a stick. These are refined irons that almost look like blades at address. That being said they are more forgiving than a lot of the players irons on the market.
We also have the progressive grooves that make them more forgiving in the long irons and more accurate in the Shorter irons. If the T250’s arent forgiving enough for you, you can go with the T350’s or blend some of the sets together.
Are The Titleist T250 Irons Good For Beginners And High Handicappers?

There are some High Handicappers that could easily play with them yes.
It depends on how consistently you strike the ball, there is no real reason why these can’t be the best option for a high handicapper. It would generally only be a high handicapper that is actively improving at the game.
Are The T250 Irons Blades
No, these are hollow body players distance irons filled with urethane for a pure feel, consistency, stability and great distance.
Should you Buy the T250’s or the T350’s?
The T350s are for inconsistent ball strikers and high handicappers.
They are almost like hybrids. You could play the T350’s in the long irons and the T250’s in the scoring irons. If you are improvement mid handicapper that wants to move on from game improvement irons, the T350’s may well be a good option to go to before take on some full on blades.

Titleist T250 First Impressions

First impressions are that these are some super clean looking irons that look like blades but provide plenty of confidence at address.
The irons are built for fast ball speeds, high launching flight and steep descent angles to get the ball stopped on the green.
We have a forged L V Taper face which is thinner for more speed and we have the max impact technology sitting the directly behind the face.
We have split tungsten in the heel and toe for a super impressive dispersion on mis hits.
We were really impressed with how consistent the distances we were getting on mishits were from left to right and front to back.
There is minimal offset but its easy to square the face on impact.
The irons are also uniformly designed so that they can be easily mixed and matched.
Well worth check out for all mid handicappers and a few golfers on either side of the spectrum.

Aidan Lehane here, I’m a Mid-low handicap golfer who has made tremendous progress in breaking 90 in just over 1 year of playing golf seriously.
I get out to the course or range as often as possible and review all the equipment I’ve come across on this blog.
