Titleist T250 Vs Titleist T200 Irons Comparison And Review

The New Titleist T-Series has been released for the 2025 season and the T200’s have gotten such an upgrade that their name has changed to the T250’s.
These are Hollow Body Players Distance Irons with a forged face that offers, distance, speed, consistency, high launch and a premium sound and feel.
Titleist T250 Overview – Whats New For 2025

Design
The first thing we can see that has changed is the design, the T200’s had an unpopular badge at the back of the club that looks a bit cheap to be honest.
The New T200’s are a 2 piece design, with the new thinner forged face resting on the premium steel body.
Uniform Design
The new T Series in 2025 now all have a uniform design. This means you can mix and match between all the Irons in the new T Series and it will look like one matched set in your bag.
New Forged L Face With V Taper
The Irons now have a Forged L Face design which is said to deliver faster ball speeds across the face.
We also have a V Taper design which allows a more pure feel and tighter dispersion rates than the T200’s, especially when you catch the ball low on the face.
Improved Max Impact Technology
The Max Impact technology has been improved which sits behind that thin steel face and produces consistent distances, even when the lie is not perfect.
The tech looks to eliminate the fliers you get at times with a lot of players distance irons.
Lofts And Set Makeup
So The T200’s started from the 4 Iron, while the T250s have a 3 and a 2 iron as well.
The lofts of the T250’s are about 1 degree weaker on average.
This should mean higher ball flights, more spin and greater stopping power on the greens.
Titleist have also attempted to make the descent angle similar throughout the T Series, so expect these irons the catch the greens well.
High Launch Version
The T250’s also come in a lighter weight, weaker lofted, high loft version.
This will suit, seniors, juniors, ladies or anybody with a slower swing speed.
Performance Test – T250 Vs T200
The Performance we got from these two was exactly as expected.
We got a higher flight, more spin and better descent angles with the T250’s.
The T200’s were longer but it was also harder to hold the greens.
We found the spin to be more consistent with the T200’s as well and the sound and feel was slightly more pure.
The T200’s also look muh better so if you can afford the price tag, these irons are well worth considering.

Titleist T250 First Impressions

First impressions are that these are some super clean looking irons that look like blades but provide plenty of confidence at address.
The irons are built for fast ball speeds, high launching flight and steep descent angles to get the ball stopped on the green.
We have a forged L V Taper face which is thinner for more speed and we have the max impact technology sitting the directly behind the face.
We have split tungsten in the heel and toe for a super impressive dispersion on mis hits.
We were really impressed with how consistent the distances we were getting on mishits were from left to right and front to back.
There is minimal offset but its easy to square the face on impact.
The irons are also uniformly designed so that they can be easily mixed and matched.
Well worth check out for all mid handicappers and a few golfers on either side of the spectrum.
A premium product from a premium brand.

Titleist T200 First Impressions

You can tell just by looking at them that the Titleist T200 irons are player’s irons
The first thing you will notice about these irons is the size of the head. The Titleist T200 feature a player’s profile shape and a very thin topline. However, the Titleist T200’s also have strong lofts which becomes apparent pretty quickly.
You wouldn’t expect the high level of feel that you get from these irons just by looking at them though. The engineered muscle back plates are tuned to enhance feedback and feel while at the same time dampening unwanted vibrations.
The Titleist T200 can surprise in terms of forgiveness and distance too. While certainly not the longest or most forgiving irons in the T series, the L-shaped face insert helps expand the sweet spot out towards the toe.
What advanced players will be able to enjoy almost immediately is the feel from the forged face insert. These irons give an unmistakable forged feel that low handicappers will go crazy for.
The “Max Impact” polymer insert also helps out with ball speed. It acts as a springboard behind the face to push the ball further and faster. The only catch is that you pretty much have to hit the ball dead-center to benefit from the Max Impact insert.
The Titleist T200 feature a unique combination of features that mostly improve feel and accuracy.

Aidan Lehane here, I’m a Mid-low handicap golfer who has made tremendous progress in breaking 90 in just over 1 year of playing golf seriously.
I get out to the course or range as often as possible and review all the equipment I’ve come across on this blog.
