Titleist T250 Vs Titleist T150 Irons Comparison And Review

The New Titleist T Series has been released and the entire series is now uniformly designed for seamless mixing and matching between the irons.
The T250’s are a hollow body players distance iron with a forged face and full steel construction. They offer distance, stability and consistency to mid handicappers and beyond.
The T150’s sit in between the complete players irons, the T100’s and the players distance T250’s. They are fully forged now and have a muscle channel inserted in the back to assist with launch, distance and stopping power.
Overall, we saw the T250’s to be Longer, higher and with less spin rates for catching the greens but while still maintaining that uniform descent angle that Titleist have been aiming for.
The T150’s are going to give consistent strikers the accuracy and precision they need to hit the greens and get close to the pin.

As mentioned the sets are blendable:
The T250’s have even made it onto the PGA Tour in the long irons and they can be blending with the T150’s in the scoring irons for Mid-Low Handicappers.
The T150’s are a great choice in the long irons for Low Handicappers and pros with the T100’s completing the set in the shorter, scoring irons.
The Lofts have remained the same in the T250’s which steal the show this year and the lofts have become slightly stronger in the T150’s making these irons even closer and more blendable between the two.
High price tag with the forging and if you interested, best to get a Titleist Fitting.
Overall Titleist remains on the thrown of better player irons with the latest T series releases. Incredible Irons all round.

Titleist T250 First Impressions

First impressions are that these are some super clean looking irons that look like blades but provide plenty of confidence at address.
The irons are built for fast ball speeds, high launching flight and steep descent angles to get the ball stopped on the green.
We have a forged L V Taper face which is thinner for more speed and we have the max impact technology sitting the directly behind the face.
We have split tungsten in the heel and toe for a super impressive dispersion on mis hits.
We were really impressed with how consistent the distances we were getting on mishits were from left to right and front to back.
There is minimal offset but its easy to square the face on impact.
The irons are also uniformly designed so that they can be easily mixed and matched.
Well worth check out for all mid handicappers and a few golfers on either side of the spectrum.
A premium product from a premium brand.

Titleist T150 – First Impressions

The first thing we noticed about the T150 was the classy, refined look that we are used to in Titleist irons.
The blades have a compact blade length and minimal offset but the wider soles offer more confidence at address.
The refined muscle channel is also immediately noticeable, adding to the power and distance of the irons.
You may not notice the CNC Precision milled grooves or the Tungsten weighting in the toe and the heel but you will definitely notice and get to know them as your strike your irons.
Overall, you are going to get the tour refined shaping with an extra bit of power and forgiveness, perfect for those perhaps trying out forged players irons for the first time.

Aidan Lehane here, I’m a Mid-low handicap golfer who has made tremendous progress in breaking 90 in just over 1 year of playing golf seriously.
I get out to the course or range as often as possible and review all the equipment I’ve come across on this blog.
