Titleist T250 Vs Callaway Apex Ai200 Irons Comparison And Review

T250 Vs Apex Ai200

The Hollow Bodied players distance iron is a rapidly expanding category in the golf world and these two irons are at the very forefront of the action.

The T250 is the upgrade of the T200 from the previous T Series and it boasts an impressively clean and minimalist design with only three words, Titleist, Forged & T250.

The Callaway Apex Ai200 have a similar, hollow body construction but have a slightly busier and bolder design with a strong black badge at the back, boasting the word Apex.

Both irons are similar, we found the Apex Ai200 to have a lower flight, more distance and less spin than the T250’s.

Titleist T250 Overview

Titleist released a whole new T Series in 2025 and the T200 was upgrade so much that they changed the name to the T250.

The unpopular badge of the T200’s is gone and now the clean design now matches the rest of the set and the uniform design allows and encourages seamless mixing and matching between the sets.

These are hollow body irons packed with premium urethane and thin forged face to offer superior sound and feel. Max Impact technology sits behind the face for pure feel when got flush and more consistency on off center hits.

We have Tungsten in the heel and toe to spread the sweet spot along the blade and progressive grooves to allow high spin rates and more accuracy as we get towards the scoring irons and wedges.

The T250’s sit in between the game improvement t350’s and the players irons T150, T100.

The T250 long irons have even made it to the PGA Tour with golfers loving the consistency, distance and control.

The 2 Iron is also very popular off the tee and the High Launch version will be perfect for the slower swing speeds.

Overall, strong lofted irons with premium performance and a price tage to match.

Overall Comparison

Both Irons performed exceptionally well in our testing but especially the T250’s.

The weaker lofts gave a higher, shorter flight with more stopping power on the greens.

Both irons gave excellent dound and feel but also excellent dispersions and consistency rates.

The T250’s are more similar to the P790s from Taylormade with the accuracy and steep descent angles for the green.

The Apex ai200 are more like the i530’s from Ping, more power, more distance but sometimes the ball can run off the back of the green.

Titleist T250 First Impressions

First impressions are that these are some super clean looking irons that look like blades but provide plenty of confidence at address.

The irons are built for fast ball speeds, high launching flight and steep descent angles to get the ball stopped on the green.

We have a forged L V Taper face which is thinner for more speed and we have the max impact technology sitting the directly behind the face.

We have split tungsten in the heel and toe for a super impressive dispersion on mis hits.

We were really impressed with how consistent the distances we were getting on mishits were from left to right and front to back.

There is minimal offset but its easy to square the face on impact.

The irons are also uniformly designed so that they can be easily mixed and matched.

Well worth check out for all mid handicappers and a few golfers on either side of the spectrum.

A premium product from a premium brand.

Callaway Apex AI200 Irons

Callaway Apex Ai200 First Impressions

The irons look clean yet powerful, A minimalist design with a strong black badge to highlight the power held within.

We have the traditional rounded Callaway head shape and the design has a compact blade, thin top lines and minimal offset.

The clubs offer power, precision and consistency for clean strikers of the ball.

The sound and feel of the Forged body and face is soft and the acoustics are premium too.

We like the high ball flight and improved spin rates too with a relatively steep descent angle.

They aren’t as good at catching the greens like the P790 or the T250 but they are longer playing and in the same bracket as something like the Ping i530.
