Swing Caddie SC4 Vs Sc300i- Which One Is Better?
It’s crazy to see how far personal golf technology has advanced in recent years but we can see the progress between the SC300i and the new for 2023,SC4.
Both of these devices give accurate numbers but the SC4 adds a completely refined package, improved interface, and simulator functionality, making the SC4 an all round better device for $150 difference in the price.
The Sc300i was also a big improvement over the Sc300 when it was released and it is great to see that device is still relevant in terms of accuracy and reliability for the price point.
Sky Caddy SC300i First Impressions
The Sc300i is a tried and tested device that brings reliable accuracy to the personal launch monitor market for just $400.
The Sc300i pairs up to the MySwingCaddie app effortlessly on your phone and it app integrates really well through Bluetooth with the device, giving you all your data in an easy-to-see and navigate manner.
Spin is now calculated in the 300i version for the first time and is generally accurate when aligned correctly, but can be off slightly.
The remote is one of the features allowing you to make many changes without having to leave your hitting spot.
Swing Caddie SC4 First Impressions
The SC4 is the newest of the personal launch monitors sitting around the $500 mark.
They looked to upgrade every aspect of the SC300 and that is evident as soon as you unbox the product, it looks amazing.
The display is clean and intuitive and this one is also really easy to set up and use. It has a handy holder for the remote control at the back of the device as well.
What we like about this one, straight off the bat is that it calls out your carry distances, so you don’t have to be looking at any screens as you play.
What The SC300i Does Better
The SC300i is available for a steal at $400 and it is a ver similar product to the SC4.
If you are ok with giving up the refined interact and simulator, the SC300i is a simple device that works well.
What Does The SC4 Do Better
The design of the SC4 has gotten a complete overhaul.
It know looks nicer, crisper. Runs better, has better battery life and is an all round better device in general.
The SC4 brings E6 golf functionality to the table.
The graphics are a bit more like gameplay than realistic as you would get with a more expensive device but still a highly useful and useable feature.
The SC4 has everything you need for home golf enjoyment.
Relatively accurate when aligned correctly, completely redesigned and packing that simulator functionality.
Both of these devices are strong but you get a bit more with the SC4 and that is our recommendation.
If you need something simple, reliable and accurate, the SC300i is also worth a look.
