Project X HZRDUS Smoke iM10 Shaft Review
The shaft is the engine room of your golf club and when we are talking about the driver we are talking about something that needs to help you generate speed.
Not just that, in order to score well, the driver shaft must be stable and accurate too. Confidence is key from the tee.
In recent years, Project X have created a huge stir in the shaft world from being a leader in iron shafts and now into the wood shafts. The HZRDUS line-up has been a massive hit for the company and today we’re looking at one of their marquee products the Smoke iM10.
Project X HZRDUS Smoke iM10 Shaft Overview
This shaft comes in two sub-models, one for low-launch/low-spin and one for mid-launch/mid-spin.
This shaft employs a new technology from Project X called HexTow which creates a stiffer and more stable shaft but with extra feel. This is something that many golfers will just love.
Why Is The Project X HZRDUS Smoke iM10 Shaft So Popular?
It is rare to find a super-stable shaft that also provides a lot of feel and feedback.
There is also the now iconic branding on this shaft which looks undeniably fantastic. HZRDUS shafts are known for a characteristic low and penetrating ball flight at the start of the shot and this is great to behold.
Another thing that people love about this shaft is the fact that if you flip the installation you can get a very clean and clutter free look, something many value. The feel is something that really pleasantly surprises people with this shaft and is absolutely worth reiterating.
How Does The Project X HZRDUS Smoke iM10 Shaft Perform?
Very well. That’s the shortest answer but both shafts in this line-up workQ incredibly well.
Those who need a little help with launch conditions will see greta benefits from the mid shaft but even with that the spin numbers are very tight.
The low shaft has another performance trick up its sleeve, no pun intended, it is counter-balanced. This adds another layer of stability to an already impressively stable shaft offering. This really is pushing the technological envelope and delivering performance in droves.
What Flexes And Weights Are Available?
Project X fans will know that they have a number coding system to denote shaft flex.
There is a huge depth to this line-up so let’s look at each sub-model separately to see what’s available.
