Pings New G440 K Driver Seen In Abu Dhabi – 4 Lofts Hit the USGA Conforming List

The New Ping Driver has been seen in Abu Dhabi this week and the golf is alive with Anticipation relative to this new, likely high MOI driver, which Ping fans hope will have them hitting more fairways in 2026 and beyond
The Ping G440 K Vs The Ping G430 10k

The Ping G430 10k was released almost a year after the original G430 Drivers and that trend continues with the G440 K which comes out almost a year after the initial and highly successful G440 launch.
The G430 was a highly forgiving and low spinning driver which is a bit of a contradictatory offering but it ticked the boxes for a lot of golfers, leading to the release of what seems like another High MOI, Forgiving and low spinning driver to hit the fairways with.

Adjustable Weighting And 10k Drops From The Name
The rear weighting in the G430 10k was fixed, in order to keep the MOI at 10,000 which was the main selling feature of the driver.
The G440 K has a moveable weight which probably does effect the MOI rating, meaning that they have dropped the 10k label too, although will still firmly expect this to be the High MOI driver of this current family.
The moveable weight means the club can be dialled in more effectively to shape shots and suit a wider pool of golfers for 2026 and beyond.
Four Loft Options Added To The List
4 Lofts have been added to the USGA list for the G440 K driver and we even get a 7.5 degree option to keep the ball low, maybe under the wind and will definitely suit the faster swinging players, all the way up to the PGA tour.
You can also get that 12 degree loft for a higher launch, so this is aimed at a wide range of golfers and swing speeds.
The full range of lofts are as follows accordingly to the USGA list: 7.5°, 9°, 10.5°, and 12°
Both righties and lefties are covered too, which is always good to see.
Ping Tease A Dual Carbonfly Crown
On the pictures of the club release we see the new ‘Dual CarbonFly’ tech being advertised which looks like it will be a lightweight multi-layer carbon composite crown to free up weight and lower that CG, reduce the spin numbers and get the ball flying further.
That forged titanium face will help with ball speed and stability, while a tungsten weight port in the sole should be the consistency high.
What It Means For Golfers Of All Levels
While it’s clearly a club geared for golfers who like to tweak their ball flight and spin, the high MOI design means you are also getting a ton of forgiveness all across the face and these Ping Drivers really do deliver on the promise of consistency and performance.
The Ping G440 Overall

The moveable rear weight and Dual CarbonFly crown shows Ping are pushing tech where it counts for both speed and control.
You’re getting adjustability that can really matter on a long hole or tricky tee shot, but it’s still a very playable club for the mid to low handicapper keen to keep the driver dialled in shot after shot.
So, it’s early days before we get this club in the bag and on the course, but the Pings designers have looked at what worked and made smart moves.
They’re giving you more lofts, better weight options, and a tech crown that helps performance on the tee without fuss.
Sounds like a winner for a wide range of players who want distance, shot shaping and a refined look. Keep your eyes peeled for when this one drops.
