Ping G440 Vs Titleist T350 Irons
Two of the better and more premium irons in the game improvement category for today’s review. We are looking at the 2025, Ping G440’s vs the 2023 Titleist T350’s Ping has made the G440’s smaller, more sleek and more player friendly than the preceding G430’s.
The offer great distance, height and forgiveness with a powerful sound on impact. The Titleist T350’s are an upgrade on the T300’s. The are modelled more after the T200’s but with more distance and more forgiveness.
The Titleist Irons win out in terms of distance, sound and feel. The Ping irons are launching, more accurate and more forgiving with higher spin rates.
The Ping irons now have shorter blades with less height and while they are still thick, chunky and confidence inspiring, they have more shelf appeal and are more workable than the G430’s.
The smaller height has reduced the weight which has been reoptimised for a higher launch, more spin and more stopping power on the greens. The longer irons have longer shafts for more distance and a higher, which solves many of the gapping issues.
The thinner face allows Ping to maintain the impressive distance without sacrificing on the high launch and descent angles for the pin hunters.
The wedges have also been designed in the iconic EYE 2 wedge shape and the result is more workable wedges. Overall a very strong contender for the 2025 season and beyond.
Titleist T350 Irons Overview
The T350 are hallow bodied game improvement irons with a forged face and advanced technology inside the head. They’ve has a redesign from the slightly unimpressive T300’s and the result is a hit even if they are slightly more expesnive.
The Forged face is back by tungsten low in the heel and toe of the club which gives incredible forgivness as well as feel.
The max performance technology adds more speed to the face and the result is impressive distance while maintaining good launch and descent angles.
There is also good spin on the ball to hold the greens but not as much as you get with the Pings.
The soles have been redesigned too with the Vokey wedge team coming in to improve the bounce and improve consistency on fat shots and shots low on the face.
Overall these are a beautiful look, confidence inspiring, high launching and forgiving premium set for high handicappers looking for a ton of distance without sacrficing on the accuracy, sound and feel.
Overall Comparison
The Ping G440’s are cheaper as they dont have the forged face and they sound powerful at impact without being overly clicky.
They offer better launch angles, more spin and steeper desent angles than the Ping G440’s but they are also longer and feel better.
Distance, sound and feel – go with Ttileist.
Launch, Forgivness, Accuracy – got with Ping.
That being said, both excellent irons and the differences in performance and not that big.

Ping G440 Irons First Impressions
The first thing to notice about the Ping G440’s is that the head has a much more player friendly profile with a shortened blade height and length. The face is thinner too and the Pur Flex Badge is visible smaller and less cavity like. The Top Line is still thick enough to inspire confidence but its also camoflaged to give that players friendly feel.
The longer irons have longer shafts which is great for distance and launch, especially if you are going with the power spec lofts. Plenty of Mid to Low Handicappers will fancy these Long Irons.
The visible Tungsten screw remains and this stretches the sweet spot along the face and you will barely notice any difference in performance when you slightly miss the center and the slight offset remains too to combat a slice.
The Hydropearl finish has also been upgraded and the result is irons that look a lot nice in the bag.
The G440’s are a worthy upgrade of the G430’s and will be extremely popular in 2025 and beyond.
Titleist T350 – First Impressions
“We really like the look of the T350’s. They are inspired by the T200 design and have a lot more shelf appeal than the T200’s.”
The T350’s have a clean polished look and while they are plenty big, confidence inspiring and forgiving. The two tine satin finish diguises the top line and the club looks sleek behind the ball.
They are a hollow body design with a premium steel metal, a spring the behind the face and tungsten in the sole and heel to increase forgivness on off center shots.
The premium max impact forged face gives these iron a really nice soft and feel and Titleist performance is second to none.
The irons have Vokey wedge inspired bounce, allowing the clubs to glide through the turf effortlessly and help with the high launch, forgiving profile that high to mid handicappers are looking for.

These are perfect clubs for players looking for a premium iron to get good distance, high launch, stopping power on the greens and forgiveness.

Who Are The Ping G440 Irons for?
It’s clear to see that the Ping G440’s are less game improvement and more player focussed than the G430’s.
The shorter blades make them look much better in the bag of Mid Handicap golfers who want workability, distance, stopping power and maintain the forgiveness that Ping is known for.
The G440’s will compete with the I530s for Mid Handicappers and the G730’s will still suit the uber high handicappers.
The G440’s are also great for High Handicappers who want to improve their golf over time. We can even see low handicappers carrying the long irons in their bag for the extra forgivness and distance.
