Ping G425 Max Vs Ping G425 LST Vs Ping G425 SFT Driver
The Ping G425 line of drivers has endeared itself to a wide variety of high and mid handicap players.
However, all three drivers in the series have similar features so it can be hard to tell them apart and decide which one is best for your game. But the following comparison overview should help clear things up for you…
Ping G425 Max Overview
“The Ping G425 features a movable, 26-gram tungsten weight.”
This makes it perhaps the most versatile driver in the series as it can help to correct your extreme draw or fade. Like all the G425 drivers, the Ping G425 Max features a hot, forged titanium face. The Ping G425 is a 460cc driver.
Ping G425 LST Overview
“The Ping G425 LST is designed to increase distance by lowering spin rates.”
It has a lighter, 17-gram tungsten moveable weight but it can still be set in the draw, neutral or fade positions. It should be noted that the Ping G425 LST is the only driver in the series with a smaller, 445cc head.
Ping G425 SFT Overview
“The Ping G425 SFT is the only driver in the family with a fixed weight.”
The Ping G425 SFt was designed to keep your flight straight with a 23-gram weight located near the heel. It still has the forged titanium face and like the Ping G425 Max, a 460cc head.
