Ping G410 Vs Callaway Big Bertha B21 Irons Comparison And Review

The Ping G410’s are popular game improvement irons, released by ping in 2019. The B21’s, released in 2021 are super game improvement irons with tons of forgiveness.

Ping G410 Irons Overview

The G410’s built on the success of the G400’s by making the irons look a lot better and also reducing the offset to improve workability for better players.

Wide soles, 2 tungsten weights, variable face thickness, a hinge at the back of the head and a wide sole, provide incredible forgiveness and easy launching.

The thin face also offers great distance on these excellent irons.

Big Bertha B21 Irons Overview

While Callaway have focused on ball speed and distance with a lot of their irons, the B21’s provide a bit more for the higher handicapped and beginner golfers among us.

The clubs are crafted with A.I for optimal performance and they have incredibly wide soles and generous lofts while the low COG ensures you can get the ball in the air easily.

The irons are also offset for forgiveness while the flash cup face does provide tremendous ball speed and distance.

These irons perform extremely well for beginners and players with a higher handicap.

Overall, we would recommend the G410’s as they come at a better price and they have more to offer a high handicapper and a player as they improve. If you need more help with your game, try the B21’s.

Ping G410 – First Impressions

The first thing you are going to notice about the G410 irons is that they are much more attractive looking than the G410’s

The tungsten weighting in the club head and hosel have lowered the COG of the irons and survived to the G425’s as well.

The clubs are less offset and slight smaller headed than the G410’s and the undercut top line offers good turf interaction to turn the heads of the better players.

The clubs also introduced variable face thickness and a flexible hinge for forgiveness on off center hits.

The clubs offer forgiveness, distance and consistency to high and mid handicap players.

An ode to these clubs is that the G425’s are not that much better at all.

Big Bertha B21 – First Impressions
