The S62 came around in early 2020 and blew the competition out of the water literally.

Not only does the watch load its 40000+ courses faster than the competition, it also lasts a whopping 15 hours in GPS mode which is at least 2 rounds.

the watch has fast change bands and downloadable interfaces for the 1.7″ x 1.7″ color touchscreen which will also give you distances to any point on the hole you are playing alongside green view with manual pin position. It is also incredibly accurate.

You get Autoshot and the Free Garmin App with the watch but you also get a virtual caddie that will suggest a club for you, even taking the wind and slope into consideration.

You get a heart rate monitor with the watch and also profiles for other sports. you can even pay for goods for services with the watch at the 19th hole after your round is finished.

For us the S12 is great for less tech savvy, those on a budget and those who also want to use a rangefinder. The s62 is best for anyone who wants the best watch on the market and is willing to pay a little bit extra for the privilege.
