Dynamic Gold Mid 100 Review – Specs, Flex Weight

There is no doubt that Dynamic Gold is one of the first names on everybodies lipes when it comes to golf shafts.

Unfortunately, many of these shafts have been aimed towards tour players with a lot of weight and stiffness and not aimed at your more average golfers.

That changes when it comes to the DG Mid 100 Shaft which comes with a starting weight of just 100gs.

It’s got a stiffer mid section and more active to tip to promote a higher launch and higher spin rates for golfers with average to slower swing speeds.

If you do have a slower swing speed and struggle to get a high enough ball flight, this is a shaft that is certainly worth considering.

Dynamic Gold Mid 100 Overview

The Dynamic Gold Mid 100 Shafts are a great for players who want a high launch and decent stopping power on the greens.

The shafts come in 3 weights: 100gs aimed at seniors and those with slower swing speeds.

115gs for those who have average to slighter faster swing speeds

130gs for the fastest swingers in town.

Whatever your swing speed there should be an option for you to try out at your local fitting center.

Why is Dynamic Gold So Popular?

Dynamic Gold is a popular shaft brand because they make quality shafts for all different styles of golfers.

They offer smooth and dynamic performance and there are a ton of options available to suit every type of player.

How Does the Dynamic Gold Mid 100 Shafts Perform?

With the lofts on modern irons getting stronger and stronger, we have the increasing problem of lower ball flights.

Thats where the DG Mid 100 Shafts come, offering a higher ball flight and more spin for these modern clubs.

The problem with the lower flight is that you cant get enough stopping power on the greens and the Mid 100 Shafts fix that issue for many.

The clubs also offer a smoother stroker for many golfers as the tip is more active which will suit many golfers swing.

On the course, you can easily feel how light the shafts are and we got around an extra 1 degree of launch angle and 300 rpms more from our 7 iron on the day.

We noticed similar results in the trackman stuido, slightly more launch angle and spin, as advertised.
