Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Vs Titleist TSR2 Driver
It’s old vs new in this comparison of the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke and Titleist TSR2 drivers.
Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Driver Overview
“The Ai Smoke features a forged carbon sole, titanium bracing structure and Ai-designed face.”
The smoke carbon weave sort of clashes with the royal blue lettering on the sole but the crown has a matte finish with a visible carbon weave.
The Ai Smoke Max also features a sliding weight that allows for 19 yards of lateral shot shaping. It plays long, straight and is very versatile. The Ai Smoke Max runs for $600.
Titleist TSR2 Driver Overview
The TSR2 has variable face thickness, aerodynamic design and low/forward weighting.
It certainly has a more classic profile than the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke and there are fewer distracting bells and whistles.
But the TSR2 was more punishing on almost all mis-hits – most especially fat shots. It felt faster through the air though and produced a more penetrating launch than the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke. The TSR2 spin rates were also lower.
The TSR2 is a great driver for mid handicappers while the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke has the forgiveness that high handicappers need.
Aidan Lehane here, I’m a Mid-low handicap golfer who has made tremendous progress in breaking 90 in just over 1 year of playing golf seriously.
I get out to the course or range as often as possible and review all the equipment I’ve come across on this blog.
