Callaway Mavrik Irons Vs Callaway Big Bertha B21 Irons
Callaway are a huge brand when it comes to golf and irons in particular. it’s going to be rare to see a year where Callaway don’t release new irons.
The Callaway Mavriks were released as family in 2020 with the Mavrik Max and Mavrik pros completing the set.
The Big Bertha B21’s were released for the 2021 season and stand alone without variations.
The B21’s build on the incredible success of the Mavrik series with Artificial Intelligence used for the perfect distribution of weight and performance.
The B21’s are almost Super Game Improvement Irons with very wide soles and high lofts to make sure getting the ball in the air is not a problem. They will suit beginners and high handicappers.
The Mavrik set has stronger lofts and less forgiveness, offering more ball speed, distance and feel while still being incredibly forgiving.
The Mvrik Set offers better value than the B21’s at a reduced price and if you want extra forgiveness, go with the Mavrik Max set.
Aidan Lehane here, I’m a Mid-low handicap golfer who has made tremendous progress in breaking 90 in just over 1 year of playing golf seriously.
I get out to the course or range as often as possible and review all the equipment I’ve come across on this blog.
