Overall this is a pretty simple hitting net but what we liked about it right away was the fact that it was affordable but still included a hitting target. The hitting target really informs you of the flight path that your balls are taking.

Plus, it just feels really satisfying when you hit the target. As long as you are aligned properly, you know that every time you hit the target, you achieved a straight shot. The Gagalileo Golf Hitting Net includes a carrying bag which is nice for neat storage or transportation.

It also features a sturdy steel frame. We were a bit bummed to see that the Gagalileo Golf Hitting Net didn’t come with ground stakes. But overall this is an affordable and functional golf hitting net.

Initially we had high expectations from this hitting net simply because it was made by Rukket – a well-known name in the golf accessory space. And we must say, we were not disappointed. The Rukket 9x7x3ft Haack Golf Net Pro is a great net for practicing all kinds of shots – not just drives.

The Rukket 9x7x3ft Haack Golf Net Pro features an adjustable hitting target so it’s great for practicing chips. It works great with short irons too. But possibly the coolest thing about this hitting net is that your ball will roll back to you.

Not 100% of the time; but enough to make it very convenient. Rukket claims that the net is stronger than kevlar. We don’t know about all that. What we do know is that when it’s set up, it’s nice and taught and will roll the ball back to you on most of your shots.

If you are on a budget, the WhiteFang Golf Net Bundle Golf Practice Net will accommodate you nicely. We were blown away at everything that came with this kit. You get the hitting net, a mat with three different kinds of turf, ground stakes (4), 6 golf balls and tees, and a chipping target.

Another thing we really liked about this hitting net were the fiberglass poles. Fiberglass is lightweight but it’s durable enough for a hitting net. The lightweight frame will make it easy for every member of your family to set up by themselves.

The chipping target was a nice touch too. You’ll definitely have to stand further away to use it but it fits well into the main net and gives you 5 different targets to try for. Very fun overall and at just under $100, it’s a steal.

What we really liked about the SharperGolf Premium Home Driving Range at first was the fact that it came with a large enough mat that you can actually stand on. The mat is 5’ x 3’ and it provides a more immersive experience – you actually feel like you’re at the range.

The rubber underside of the map grips the ground well whether you’re on concrete or grass. The entire set comes with 50 plastic practice balls, 3 rubber golf tees, 4 alignment sticks, the mat, the net and even a swing training guide.

There are also ground stakes included for when you’re practicing on the grass. The net is nice and wide so it will cover your shanks pretty well. The net is durable, although we wish the mesh was a little bit tighter.

The ANYTHING SPORTS 20x10ft Sports Net really lives up to it’s name because aside from golf, you can use it for batting practice, soccer practice and even hockey practice. The fact that the ANYTHING SPORTS 20x10ft Sports Net comes with 4 sand bags was thoughtful too.

Not everyone will be able to use stakes to ground the net so the bags can be filled with sand to keep the net in place. We really like this practice net for beginners and high handicappers too because it’s so wide that it will catch most if not all of your mis-hits.

The netting seems fairly durable but the depth of the net from front to back is pretty shallow. Because of the width, it’s also a bit tricky and time-consuming to set up.

Our first impression of the Heavy Duty Golf Hitting Net after reading the specs is that it would be great for driving practice – and we were correct. The flexible poles allow the net to absorb shock from your full swings very well.

It was a lot of fun to practice with our drivers, woods and long irons. The Heavy Duty Golf Hitting Net is 10 feet wide, 7 feet tall and 3 feet deep so it’s a pretty standard size for home hitting nets. You don’t have to be afraid to practice with real golf balls either – the 7-ply netting is plenty durable.

It was also very nice that the whole net can be set up and taken down in only about 5 minutes. It’s a one-man job and it’s pretty simple.

The back netting of the Gagalileo Golf Hitting Cage has been doubled up to absorb the impact of your shots. There is also a hanging target net to let you know when you’ve achieved a straight or nearly straight shot.

Keep in mind that the Gagalileo Golf Hitting Cage is 10’ deep, 10’ wide and 10’ tall. So you will need a decent amount of space to use it. We liked that the heavy netting dampens the sound of the ball’s impact.

At first, we thought the Sharellon Golf Practice Net looked more like a tent than a hitting net. It has a premium look with x-style crossbars on the side and almost like a canopy on top. The 5 foot depth not only makes it more stable; but it almost looks like you can use this net as a shelter.

As far as practice goes, we really liked this net. It includes a plastic mat that goes inside the net and covers its entire expanse. The plastic mat is flipped up vertically towards the front so none of your balls roll out of the net.

This was a pretty thoughtful design feature as you won’t have to go searching for your balls at the end of your practice session. The net is 9 feet wide and 7 feet tall so overall, it has a pretty large footprint.

Our first thoughts about theShortyard Nylon Indoor Golf Net was that it was a bit smaller than some of the other nets we tested. And sure enough, when we broke out the tape measure, it was slightly under 7 feet tall.

However, it has a depth of about 6 feet and it looks exactly like a mesh tent without a front opening. Still, we liked the fact that the target mat was nice and large. It protected the rear netting very well and the contrasting colors made it easy to see exactly where you ball made contact.

The Shortyard Nylon Indoor Golf Net also comes with a small turf mat that holds the tee. The upright rods are made of fiberglass so they are light. You also get 6 golf balls and a carrying case for the net.

At a glance, the Desert Hills Golf Practice Net looks just like the Shortyard net we highlighted at #9 on our list. That’s because like the last entry, the Desert Hills Golf Practice Net is also a tent-like enclosure net. This makes it good for high handicapper who tend to slice the ball because it will protect your surroundings.

It does however make setup a bit more tricky and time-consuming. The depth of the net is 6.5’ and the kit comes with 2 practice balls. There is a target mat and the great thing about it is that it is secured at all four corners to the net’s connective frame.

This means that it stays taught (as long as you installed it properly) and it won’t sway around in the wind. The netting is nice and durable so you can use regular golf balls for your practice sessions. It doesn’t return your balls to you but there is an enclosure so it corrals them.

If you are looking for an extremely affordable hitting net, don’t have much issue with accuracy or if you don’t have a lot of room to spare, the OKAYES Golf Hitting Net deserves your attention. This net is slightly smaller than any of the nets we have features so far at just 8’ wide, 8’ tall and 3.5’ deep.

The compact design makes it very easy and quick to set up though which is what we noticed right away. It only takes about 4 minutes to set up. The whole kit which includes ground stakes so you can set it up in the yard, weighs only 12 pounds.

Anyone in your household will be able to set it up by themselves. The poles are made of fiberglass so they are lightweight and flexible. The OKAYES Golf Hitting Net also comes with a suspended target mat which isn’t ideal because it can sway in the wind; but it’s a nice add-on to such an affordable hitting net.

Throughout our testing for this list, we grew to be wary of target mats that were suspended (hanging by only two points as opposed to lashed at all 4 corners) target mats because they move around too much in the wind.

However, we were very pleasantly surprised that the ANDGOAL Golf Practice Net, a net that costs less than $80 had an adjustable target mat. It is a suspended target mat; but at least it’s adjustable. This made it very fun and very versatile.

This is a 7’ deep, 8’wide and 7’ tall hitting net and it’s durable enough to use real balls on. It’s also great for smaller practice areas.
