Aspire Pro X Golf Club Set Review 2023

The Aspire Pro X golf club set is a steal for all the features that are included. One of its defining characteristics is its similarity to sets made by the likes of larger, better-known golf club manufacturers.

Aspire Pro X

The Aspire Pro X set has all the clubs you will need to get from the tee to the pin and then some.

For it’s price (just under $600) you would be hard-pressed to find a better value for a complete set of clubs. One of the things we liked the most about the Aspire Pro X set after testing it was that there were no gapping issues.

We had every club we needed to play optimal rounds with the Aspire Pro X set. Some of the features mimic clubs from manufacturers like Callaway and Taylormade too. Before we go any further, we should mention that this set would be best for intermediate players.

If your handicap is hovering somewhere between 11 and 15, this would be a great set to pick up. Mainly because it will give players on the cusp of single-digit handicap scoring the extra performance push they need to break through.

The Aspire Pro X set is forgiving in almost all of the clubs. The set is marked by consistently low CG throughout so almost all of the clubs produce good apex height. And while high handicap players would also get good use out of this set; we couldn’t shake the feeling that it was intended for slightly more advanced players after testing it.

Aspire Pro X – What’s in the Bag?

The Precise M3 complete golf club set includes the following clubs and pieces:

Driver, 3 wood, hybrid, irons 6-9, pitching wedge, putter and stand bag

Aspire Pro X – First Impressions & Club Breakdowns

The value of this set is what we were smitten with to begin with. This is a 19-piece golf club set that includes a total of three hybrid clubs. You usually don’t get this many clubs for under $600.

Call us cynics but the price tag for these clubs didn’t exactly inspire hope that they would perform well. After all, you usually get what you pay for. We’re happy to say that we were pleasantly surprised.

While the Aspire Pro X set is surely not the one you will be using if you stick with the game long enough to become a scratch player, it’s still a great set for the casual player and anyone trying to improve their game.

Driver

You can feel the low/rear CG of the driver on your first swing. It sports a titanium alloy face to increase flex and resiliency. At point of address, beginner players will love the size of the head. It sports a deep face as well so high and mid handicap players will have no trouble striking the middle.

Woods

The fairway wood is outfitted with a V6 variable control graphite shaft and again, very low CG. It cuts through the rough pretty well, if that is of any concern to you. But the thing we liked the most about the fairway wood was that our lower handicap testers were able to get great launch and distance out of it, making strategic ball placement a possibility.

Hybrids

You get a total of three hybrids in this set: a 3H, 4H and 5H. These clubs will be godsends for both beginner and intermediate players. They are much easier to hit with than comparable long irons and they are even aerodynamically designed which helps increase club head speed.

Irons

Irons 6-9 are included in the Aspire Pro X set and what we liked about them was the perimeter weighting. This effectively puts more power (distance) behind the shots that miss out towards the toe. These are cavity back irons with thick soles to help players launch the ball.

Wedges

We were very pleased when we saw that the Aspire Pro X set includes both a pitching and a sand wedge. Most sets in the game-improvement category only include one or the other. While we wished the wedges were a bit more workable (the grooves seemed ineffectual), they still provide the kind of launch you need around the pin.

Putter

Rounding out the Aspire Pro X set is a mallet style putter with prominent alignment markers. We noticed that we had to dial back our stroke on longer putts with this club. It’s a bit on the heavy side but it doesn’t take too long to get familiar with it and adjust accordingly.

Shafts

All of the woods in the set feature V6 graphite shafts while the irons sport Precision Rifle steel shafts.

High launch and forgiveness is prominent throughout this set. Most players will find all the clubs easy to hit with even if some of them do lack workability.

Who is the Aspire Pro X Set for?

After testing this set on the course, we think it would be best for mid handicappers on the cusp of single-digit handicaps.

You will still need a pretty decent swing speed to get decent distance out of the hybrids and the irons – the kind of swing speed common for mid handicap players. Our only major gripe about the set is that the critical clubs lack workability. It tries to make up for it with high launch but our better testers noticed it all too well.

Still, that won’t be too much of a problem for high handicappers and even players floating closer to a 20 handicap.
