Mizuno Iceberg Irons Limited Edition

It’s that time of the year again where the golfing companies start to unveil and leak their new irons, drivers and other golf goodies in anticipation for the new golf season to arrive.

This new set will have super limited available and it the first thing, you notice is the progressive coloring from Blue to a Neutral Metallic Grey.

Here is the 10 main things to know about this new releases.

1. Progressive Combo Set

The new Iceberg combine Mizuno S3’s in the longer irons with S1’s in the shorter irons and wedges.

The S3 Irons are Cavity Back Players irons, which allow complete control over the ball flight while offering just a smidge of forgiveness.

We are not talking Beginner Forgiveness but Low Handicap Forgiveness, due to compact head size which looks stunning behind the ball.

2. Progressive Colouring

This is the Real Key Feature, The Longer Irons start of Deep Blue and the shade of Blue gets progressively weaker as you run down through the set towards the Wedges which turn into a more metallic iron color.

We also get perfectly tailored Ferrules which are colour co-ordinated for a really excellent looking set.

These will look great in the bag or even as a collectors item for the home or a golf infused, Man Cave.

3. Limited Edition – With Only 1000 Sets To Be Released

You will only have 1000 chances to buy these irons new when they are released to the public on December 5th 2025.

The limited nature ensures golfers, that aren’t chasing a few bucks by targeting the mass market and they also make a great collectors item or something to garner attention and low scores on the course.

4. Custom Grips And Shafts For The Iceberg Irons

The new Iceberg come with their own limited Edition Golf Pride Grips with a Soft white and light blue color design.

The Irons also get their own shafts, the Dynamic S400 Iceberg shafts with their own special blue and white sticker on the metallic grey shaft.

5. Harmonic Impact Technology

Mizuno is known for it’s beautiful sounding irons and this new set no different, engineered for that perfect, Clicky, Mizuno Sound And Feel, especially when you catch them flush.

6. The Irons Are Forged In Hiroshima, Japan

A well know spot in Japan and an industrial powerhouse.

The Irons are Grain Flow Forged from High Strength Steel, with the upmost care and attention to detail and also ensuring the sound is crisp in every club with that Mizuno Forged feel.

The face material is made out of 1025e Pure Select Carbon Steel to help give that butter soft Mizuno Feel.

There is also a copper underlay underneath the head which serves to dampen vibrations and envoke that famous sound and feel.

We also have the weight concentrated right behind the sweet spot to improve MOI, distance and feel when you catch it flush.

7. Enhanced Directly From Player Feedback

A growing trend in golf is the companies asking there tour players what improvements they would like to see and then delivering them.

Here are the changes suggested an implemented in the new Iceberg set.

Aggressively Tapered Upper Blade: This has been enhanced for enhanced trajectory with lower flightier long irons and higher, more towering short irons.

Thinner Top Line: Looks more sleek at address and has been brought about with weight movement and maunfacturing adjustments.

More Compact: The S1 short irons have been made even more compact, as suggested by a big number of Mizuno’s tour players. This brings enhanced precision to hunt the pins even more aggressively.

More Bounce: An extra inch of bounce added to the Long Irons and an extra 2 inches of bounce added to the Short Irons for better turf interaction and better trajectory control.

8. Playable & Collectible

Due to the extreme rarity of the clubs, some golfers will pick these up as an investment, hoping that they become worth much more in the future, when the circulating supply is reduced and they become harder to find.

Others will buy these to put straight in the bag in the hopes of shooting even par or better.

9. S3 Irons Vs S1 Irons

Both Irons are made from the same Mild Carbon Steel.

The S3 Irons are cavity backs which adds a little forgiveness from further out, where being accuracy is not as important as hitting the correct distance, consistently.

The S1’s are more slender, Muscle back irons for absolute precision and spin control, to get close to the pin for birdies and pars.

The main difference is that the S3’s have the Tripe Cut Sole to dig through the turf more easily.

The S1’s have a flatter sole design for stability and precision with clean striking to get the ball exactly where a better player is aiming for, with complete spin and launch angle control.

11. Not The First Limited Edition From Mizuno – Bonus Point

Only releasing 1,000 sets is not a new trick for Mizuno who also released a Limited, green, Masters Pro 241 Iron set in 2024.

These obviously went down well and they are repeating the tactics/marketing ploy for this new set.
